Doubting

I'm not sure if I'm doubting myself, or I'm just doubting my possibility
I don't know if I'm living my life or just living what fate has given to me
There's chances to advance in so many directions
But I'll often just go with the flow of my current convection

And I'm sorry, Me, but I'm not done believing in you just yet
We may be gambling with energy and time but I'm still taking the bet
Leave the treadmill and instead fill your map with paths into the unknown
It's fine to whine and understandable if you plan to moan

Just, move forward while you do it.
Do whatever you need to pursue it.
Dragged feet are not stationary
Looking up a little bit still counts as visionary
Embrace the moment but don't stay there forever
Because storms are coming you're gonna need to weather:

Age. Injury. Grief. Disease. Time.
So don't sit and wait for your optimum prime.
It may never come. All you might have is right now.
A sense of who you want to be and a chance to figure out how.

Seize your opportunity using whichever cliché will get you on your feet
And stop doubting a life you'll never get to repeat
