There is a story of nature
And I think I'm overly aware
That all we ever learn of it
Is a translation
Nature has some structure
But also chaos
And the structure tricks us
Into hubris
So we give lots of label
To the flora and fauna
As if the forests
Fit into boxes
Nature has a story
I find it hard to follow
Though, sometimes
I can still see its beauty
And I understand why
Despite the misinterpretations
It is worth the effort
To hear a rendition
