The importance of keeping things short

If you have a speech to make
Here's some tips you ought to take
Keep it short, keep it sweet
Don't you lead them to their sleep

I know you have a lot to say
And could go on for a whole day
But they have all got a place to be
A thing to do, a friend to see

So work out how you'll keep it short
Keep it tight like you've now been taught
Take out each word that is there just for you
And then you might just be set to

Make a speech, one which holds it's own
Before they can...too late.

Are contentment and boredom synonyms?
I mean this question only honestly
I'm going to take charge, go out on a limb
And say the answer is no. Well, mostly
There's no doubt overlap twixt these cases
When we no longer have drive or desire
Satisfied we have run enough races
With no need to keep pushing on higher
But I can be content about one thing
Allowing me to finish and move on
Boredom is absolutely engulfing
The most self destructive phenomenon

Without contentment, I'd never progress
With boredom I get caught in the process
